Das Team Jumbo-Visma sagte: "Warum nicht wir?" und widmete das Jahr 2023 darauf, diesen monumentalen Erfolg zu erreichen. Zur Feier wurde ein spezielles S5-Rahmenset entworfen – mit einer Lackierung in Pink, Gelb und Rot, die auf jeden Grand Tour-Sieg hinweist.

Das neue S5 hat den Luftwiderstand um 65 Gramm reduziert, während die Oberfläche des Rahmens vergrößert und gleichzeitig das Gesamtgewicht reduziert wurde. Die tieferen Rahmenausschnitte maximieren die Formen, die von den neuen UCI-Regularien zugelassen werden. Gleichzeitig wurde der ikonische V-Vorbau weiter verfeinert und eine neue Gabel entwickelt, um das gesamte Cockpit zu vereinfachen.
